Date Night: Movie Premiere of "Jane Eyre" ♕ ♕ ♕

Thursday, March 10, 2011

Hey everyone! I'm just getting back from my date with one of the sweetest guys I know!  This man has been so good to me and I love how we're getting closer.  He took me to see the movie premiere of "Jane Eyre" at the E Street Cinema.  I felt bad because I was running kind of late, but it's only natural for me with the nature of work that I do.  My opinion of the movie...disappointing.  ^︵^ I thought the love story was so retarded LOL!  Jane falls for her boss...who is wish washy.  One minute he's all about her, the next minute he's talking about marrying another woman.  Then when all is said and done she decides to marry him, but something ruined her wedding day that in my book...is completely unforgivable.  That's where the love story would've ended if it starred me, miss Vivi!  I would've chopped off his private parts and mailed it to him.

Yeah...I wouldn't pay money to see this movie.  I couldn't get into it and I feel like the character development was poorly done.  I think it was a true story though...

Saturday me and the honeybun are going to a College Lacrosse Tournament in Baltimore and then later on in the day we're going to the Kennedy Center to see a Masonic Symphony.

Until next time...

Date Night: Movie Premiere of "Limitless" ☆ ★ ☆

Wednesday, March 9, 2011

My sweetie invited me out on another date to a movie premiere tonight.  It was "Limitless" starring Bradley Cooper, Abbie Cornish, and Robert DeNiro.  Let me tell you...this movie doesn't come out until March 18th...but it is GOOD!  It's definitely a must see and I would even pay to see it again.  It's about a man who stumbles across a pill that unlocks the 80% of your brain that normal people cannot access on a day to day basis.  His surge of intelligence, photographic memory, and ability to recall minute memories that most people can't leads him to a road of success and danger.  Check out the movie trailer!

Definitely grab either a lover or a friend and go see this movie.  It's totally worth it!

This was my outfit for tonight.  Normally I always where dresses and heels, but I decided to go with a more down to earth look.  The grey vest is designed by Buffalo and cost $99.00 and I wore I white screen tee with a cute chihuahua puppy image underneath.  Of course I rocked it out in my skinny jeans and grey boots, both bought from Forever 21.  Tomorrow we're going to another movie premiere for the movie "Jane Eyre".  Seems like a romance story, I hope it's good!

Until next time...

Girls Night Out: Smuckers Stars on Ice ❈ ❈ ❈

Sunday, March 6, 2011

Thanks to my sweetie, me and my 3 nieces got hooked up with free tickets to the professional figure skating show, "Smuckers Stars on Ice" at the Verizon Center.  This was a very special day for one of my nieces because she has to get a major surgery soon and will be on 100% bed-rest for 6 weeks.  How stressful for a 14 year old!  So I especially wanted to do something special for her.  Check out the video clips I took of the show!

In this next video, if you watch very closely, Kristi Yamaguchi in yellow...BUSTS HER BOOTY! ⎝⏠⏝⏠⎠

Only two of the skaters had falls, but the show was really good.  I loved how child-oriented it was and the kids stayed engaged the entire show.  I'm really glad my honey bun gave me the opportunity to make a difference in some children's lives.  The recession isn't only effecting adults, it's effecting our kids too.

These are my nieces!  They are sooo beautiful with a touch of attitude and sweetness! ◕‿◕

Me and my cutie of course!  He's so good to me.  I'm very blessed that God has brought him into my life.

This girl right here is very special.  She's one of the strongest people I know and I love her very much.  God has blessed me to be both her auntie and her nurse!  εїз εїз εїз

Date Night: Wizards v. Timberwolves Game ☄ ☄ ☄

Saturday, March 5, 2011

I went on a date to the Wizards v. Timberwolves game at the Verizon Center today!  This was my first NBA game I've ever been to.  The Wizards got their butts kicked, but I still enjoyed the game.  Afterwards he bought me Chipotle and took me on a walk by the White House.  Another first as well because any other time I've ever been to DC the roads are blocked off.  I thought the night was gonna end there but he surprised me by taking me to play pool out in Silver Spring, MD.  I love spending time with him, and we're getting to know each other more.  I'm not perfect by any means, but I pray he can accept me for who I am, both good and bad...

LOL now I know what they mean by "nose bleed" seats!  Next date I got planned...Smuckers Stars on Ice at the Verizon Center!  We got the tickets as part of children's charity program he's a part of so I'm bringing my lil gang of nieces.  One of my nieces was in a really bad car accident and is in a wheel chair now, I especially want to bring her because it would make her day! ★ ★

Date Night: French Contemporary Pianist Wilhem Latchoumia

Thursday, March 3, 2011

Tonight was really special!  I had yet another date with the cutie!  We went to the French Embassy to see Wilhem Latchoumia perform.  He's a famous French contemporary pianist.  Then after the performance I enjoyed free wine that they served in the lobby.  If you've never heard contemporary music before, it will definitely be a different flavor for your ears.  Contemporary music explores an abstract approach to music and uses different media and innovative approaches to playing instruments to create it's unique sound.  I took a few video clips of his performance.  Tell me what you think!

My date is definitely not a push over.  He refused to ask Wilhem to take a picture with me because I was feeling shy.  My pouting didn't persuade him...the meanie!  So I built up the courage to go speak to the famous Wilhem myself and make my request.  Wilhem is such a humble man!  I wish I knew French so I could talk to him more.

Tonight I was wearing a sophisticated lil black dress by Michael Kors.  I love his sleek and sexy fashions!  Me and my honey bun look great together!  I can't wait to see him again!  Every time he gently touched my leg during the concert, I could hear my heart racing with the contemporary music.  Ooooh boy!  :-*

Until next time...

Date Night: Indian Play "Nati Binodini" ✿ ✿ ✿

Wednesday, March 2, 2011

Tonight I had the honor of accompanying my sweetheart to the Kennedy Center to see the Indian play called "Nati Binodini".  It was the theatrical biographical account of Nati Binodini's life, played by five actresses.  She was a poor girl sent to the theatre to find work.  The director of the theatre raised her up to become a famous actress in India, however there was a dark side o her success.  She was forced into prostitution in order persuade key contributors to the theatre to continue to fund it and ultimately build a new playhouse.

The performance was very beautifully put together!  The only thing I didn't like was that it was all in a foreign language and we had to read subtitles on tiny screens.  The subtitles were timed badly and very difficult to read.  My favorite line from the play is, "What can you expect?  A polluted woman can only produce pollution."  That line resonated with me.  Nati Binodini was a very sweet and kind hearted woman, but once she began prostituting herself, she became cold and bitter.  The costuming was also very amazing.  I loved the different saris that the actresses wore.

I think my date enjoyed himself...but I think he was enjoying the smell of my "Eat It Raw" perfume even more!  I wish I took pictures in my dress, it was very precious! ◕‿◕

Until next time...

Date Night: Movie Premiere of "Take Me Home Tonight"

Tuesday, March 1, 2011

Goodevening! I'm just getting home from a double date ◕‿- The guy I've been dating recently took me out to see the Movie Premiere of "Take Me Home Tonight".  He introduced me to his good friend Karim and his lovely date.  Let me tell you...this movie was AMAZING!  I loved it!  We could not stop laughing, we were just about to tears!  Check out the trailer...

My date and I got cuddled up like two peas in a pod in the theatre.  ♥ He's really just a honey bun, and boy is the honey sweet!  I think its awesome that he's already introducing me to his friends.  You can tell someone likes you back if they start bringing you around people they know.  No one wants to bring somebody around their people if they're embarrassed by them LOL!

After the movie, we grabbed a bite to eat at Ledo's pizza.  We enjoyed some good conversation and some good food!  I'm getting to know him more and I like what I see so far.  He must be interested because we're going out yet again tomorrow night to the Kennedy Center to see the Indian play "Nati Binodini".  I'm really excited!

Until next time...
